It takes small steps and simple lifestyle changes to effect how you experience and deal with challenges in your life. Here are seven areas you could look at:
- Talk to someone you trust
- Try to manage your worries
- Look after your physical health
- Try breathing exercises
- Keep a diary
- Try peer support
- Complementary and alternative therapies

But the biggest thing you can do is talk to someone. It’s number one on the list for a reason.
Do you have a friend, family member of trusted doctor who you could speak to? If you really don’t want to talk to people you know, Mind are always there with advice, guidance and local counselling, should you decide that this might help you.
