Lucy Perrow (nee Turnbull) is an award winning dietitian. She qualified with a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2001. Lucy moved to Boston, USA in 2001 where she worked as a nanny for a rock band, before starting her dietetic career in the USA. Lucy returned to the UK in 2007 to complete her Master’s in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2009. Since returning to the UK Lucy has worked as a dietitian in the NHS for 13 years. She recently launched her own business ‘Your Health Dietitian’ which focuses on helping people lose weight and achieve better health through personalised nutrition and support. Lucy also has a keen interest in Nutritional Genomics and how our DNA affects our health, and lifestyle changes we can make for optimal health and nutrition. Lucy is an official spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and The Association for the Study of Obesity (ASO). Lucy currently lives with her husband and daughter (and dog). She enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, reading, travelling and has recently discovered boxing at her local gym.
