“My Anytime Resolution is to improve my overall fitness and just try and get a bit leaner. Basically I’ve been trying to come to the gym at least four to five times a week, missing it up with lifting weights and then doing cardio as well, if I can. Depending on work I’ve been trying to get into a class or two which keeps it varied.”
Richard
“My Anytime Resolution is to run 11.6 miles for Cancer Research a week before my 82nd birthday.”
Mary
“My Anytime Resolution really is just to keep strong. I probably come here three times a week and just use the machines and free weights. I’m 61 years old and think it’s so important to keep strong at my age. You lose a lot of muscle mass as you get older and I am determined not to let that happen to me.”
Lexie
“My Anytime Resolution is to make the South West Saxon’s women’s 27 squad for nationals this year, which I’m really excited about.”
“How I’m doing this is I’m working really closely with Tom, who is a PT at the gym so we’re doing a lot of functional training so really different kind of stuff. So, looking at exploitive work like box jumps, stepping up onto boxes, working on my balance as well and my explosiveness. I’m also training my upper and lower boxy twice a week.”
Hayley
“The bigger picture of my goal is to lose weight for my 2025 wedding! But with that said my goal this year is to learn discipline and consistency. To have a healthy relationship with food. To challenge myself and take myself out of my comfort zone such as trying new exercises. My goals are to become a better version of myself and show myself I can do it!”
